Review: My wife had used Action Transmission Specialists and was treated well there, so I decided to try their service. I have been there 3 or 4 times now, for everything from oil changes to replacing AC lines. They are prompt, knowledgeable, and really know what they are doing.

I live across town, and I appreciated that Action Transmission Specialists gave me a ride home because my truck was going to have to be there all day. Not only is the job done right, but they do not overcharge. In fact, their price was considerably less than other companies I looked at for same work.

Review: I went to Action Transmission Specialists because I thought I had a problem with my transmission. I worked directly with Robin, who was reliable and explained everything to me, including how much the work would cost. Initially, I had gone to another transmission shop that was not able to fix my car right away, and this was a problem because I needed it to get to work. Action Transmission was the only one willing to fix my car within the time frame I needed, for a reasonable price.

One thing that caught my eye about Action Transmission is that they will tow your car for free if you get the work done at their shop. Whereas other companies still charge a towing fee, Action Transmission does not. Also, if you go to them with a price that one mechanic gave you, they will work with you to deduct from the cost and give you the best offer.

I had a good experience with Action Transmission because of how they handled everything and took their time with me. They are currently working on my alternator because what we thought was a transmission problem ended up being a problem with the alternator. So far, everything has worked out fine and they have done good work.
